I met this amazing woodworker, Kevin Manville, while working on a remodel. He forages fallen trees locally and has an amazing selection of species to choose from. While in his shop, he showed me a prototype for a concept he'd been working on for over a year called "TailorMade". Instead of butterfly joints, he uses metal wire to literally stitch the slabs together. O M G. Incredible. I had never seen anything like this before. I knew this had to be our dining table....introducing "Lace", a live-edge, Claro Walnut goddess, held together with copper wire.
